Ingredients:

Goldenseal    470mg
Huang Lian (in Chinese Pin Yin), Rhizoma Coptidis, Hydrastis canadensis (Latin Name).

Free of: yeast, wheat, milk or milk derivatives, lactose, sugar, preservatives, artificial color, artificial flavor, sodium (less than 5 mg per serving).

Actions:

Clearing away heat, drying dampness, purging fire and clearing away toxins.

Indications:

Damp-heat syndrome manifested as diarrhea, dysentery, tenesmus. Acute febrile diseases with excessive fire and heat with symptoms of high fever, dyshphoria, unconsciousness, etc. Sores, carbuncles, furuncles, boils, canker sores in the mouth, skin infections, pruritus. 

Directions:

For adults, take 1 capsule 4 times daily, preferably with a meal. Capsules may be opened and prepared as a tea. 

Precautions:

This herb is very bitter and Cold and therefore, it should not be given in large amounts or over a long period of time so as to avoid damage of the stomach. Do not use during pregnancy or if you are nursing. If you are taking any medications, consult your doctor before use. Discontinue use and consult your doctor if any adverse reactions occur.
