Actions:

Nourishes kidney yin, clears heat, subdues deficiency fire, stops sweating.

Indications:

Use for yin deficiency fire flourishing upwards, causing hot flashes without sweating,  feverish palms and soles, tidal low grade fevers, palpitations, insomnia, and anxiety. Also for spermatorrhea (nocturnal ejaculation), lower back pain, and coughing up of blood. Can be used for deficiency heat bleeding, including bleeding from nose, lung, stomach , rectum, vagina, and urethra. Used in menopausal disorder, hyperthyroidism, tuberculosis, diabetes, and AIDS. 

Directions:

Take 8 pills, 3 times a day.

Precautions:

Do not take if you are pregnant or nursing. Not for long term use or in excess of recommended amounts. Do not use in cases of poor digestion or loose stools. Discontinue use during colds and flu, as tonics tend to drive pathogenic factors into the interior.
