Information

The active ingredient stimulates the blood flow directly in the area of pain. This leads to the relaxation of the muscle and improves the oxygen and nutrition supply in the painfuyl area. At the same time, the active ingredient, cayenne pepper, blocks the pain spreading. As a result, then pain is reduced. The soft, elastic plaster material easily adjusts to body movements. Ingredients:

Each plaster contains as active ingredient

395.4 - 551.7mg of soft extract ethanolic 80% (v/v)

(4-7:1) of cayenne pepper which is equivalent to 11 mg capsaicinoids, calculated as capsaicin.

Actions:

The herbal extracts contained in ABC Plaster stimulates blood flow, produces a sensation of warmth and reduces pain. The active ingredient stimulates the blood flow directly in the area of pain. This leads to relaxation of the muscle and improves the oxygen and nutrition supply in the painful area. At the same time, the active ingredient, cayenne pepper, blocks the pain from spreading. As a result, pain is reduced. 

Indications:

To be used as supportive treatment externally for the relief of muscle pain, e.g. stiff neck, painful shoulder, myalgia (muscle ache), lumbago, backache, shooting pains, rheumatism, sciatica, neuralgia.

Directions:

Clean affected area thoroughly. After removing the backing paper, apply the plaster adhesive side down on dry skin directly over the area of pain. Press firmly and smooth down. Cut ABC Heat Plaster to required shape if desired. Ensure that the entire painful area is covered.  

A maximum of one plaster per day should be left in place for at least 4 and up to 12 hours. Wait at least 12 hours before applying a new plaster on the same area. You can use the plasters until the pain disappears. You should consult your physician if you feel you still need to use plasters after 3 weeks of treatment.

Precautions:

Do not use in case of intolerance of capsicum preparations. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding without first consulting your doctor. Do not apply near the eyes or other sensitive areas (e.g. near mucous membranes). Do not use on children under the age of 12. Do not use on broken skin or wounds. Wait at least 12 hours after removing the plaster before using other topical medications in the same place. Avoid application of additional sources o heat (e.g. heating pad). Interrupt treatment immediately if excessive burning is experienced or rarely allergic skin reaction is occurred. The plasters should be used within 3 months of opening the pack. Do not use the plaster after the expiry date. Keep out of reach of children. Keep in a cool (below 25 degrees Celsius) and dry place.
