Acute or chronic gastritis (including ideopathic) and gastric or duodenal ulcer.

Huang Lian Su Pian - Indications include: Intestinal infection and inflammation including dysentery, due to bacilli (rod-shaped bacteria) with symptoms of frequent bloody or watery stools, abdominal pain, vomiting, fever. Chronic amebic dysentery, carbuncles, sores on the skin with pus, conjunctivitis.

Er Chen Wan - Transforms and dispels phlegm, dries dampness, harmonize the stomach. Indications include:  Cough with excess phlegm where there is a sensation of chest fullness with nausea and possible vomiting. Abdominal distension with digestive problems, dizziness, vertigo, or palpitations due to Dampness retention, asthma, emphysema, chronic bronchitis with excess sputum and gastric problems such as poor appetite, excess stomach acid, heartburn, hangover, morning sickness, goiter, gastroenteritis with cough or phlegm.

Huo Hsiang Cheng Chi Pien - Indications include: Common cold in summer, fever and chills, headache caused by heat stroke, indigestion, flatulence, vomiting, diarrhea, gas, fullness of chest, abdominal pain, nausea, no appetite, acute gastroenteritis.
