include: Chronic cough
due to Deficient Kidney Yin with symptoms of dry cough, lumbago,
dizziness, vertigo,
tinnitus, deafness,
night sweats,

Zao Ren Tang - For neurasthenia,
insomnia and
neuralgic palpitation,
thirst, restlessness, night
sweats, anxiety,
or vivid uncomfortable dreaming. Also useful for poor concentration,
clouded mind, or mental fatigue. |

Yin
Chiao Tablet (Yin Chiao Chieh Tu Pien) -
Indications include: Colds,
influenza, fever
(not necessary always present), acute bronchitis,
pneumonia, pharyngitis,
otitis media,
parotitis, measles,
ear infection, tonsillitis.
Symptoms: bodily pains, aversion to wind, headache,
thirst, cough, throat
pain.
Also useful in early presentations of childhood viral diseases,
including chicken pox, rubella and measles. May have beneficial effects
in hives or skin itching with heat. |

Chiao Jie Du Pian (Yin Qiao Chieh Tu Pien) - Indications
include: Fever, common
cold, flu,
acute bronchitis,
pneumonia, pharyngitis,
otitis media,
parotitis, measles,
tonsillitis,
with symptoms of aversion to wind, headache,
thirst, cough, throat
pain.

Golden
Book Herbal Extract (Jin Kui Shen Qi Wan) -
Indications include: Tired
legs, low backache,
lumbar pain,
feeling of cold in the waist area, frequent
urination or difficult
urination with clear copious urine, abundant expectoration of
sputum. Diabetes
in the cases mentioned above (additional symptoms may include excess
urination, excess thirst). Chronic nephritis
with edema (anemia may be present, sometimes there is excess urination,
especially at night. Chronic asthma
(Deficient Kidney
type - not Lung Heat type or Spleen Damp type) which is worse in the
winter. Hypothyroidism (symptoms of coldness, myxedema, pale face,
tiredness). Sexual dysfunction due to Deficient Kidney Yang. Ascites in
cases with Cold in the Kidney. Optic nerve atrophy.

moderate severity.

sleeplessness, lumbago, high glucose level in the blood and urine,
diabetes mellitus
