- Indications include: Deficient Qi and blood syndrome which has caused leukorrhea, deficient Spleen Qi which may cause the body to

main cause for the production of leukorrhea. Thus, in addition to
leukorrhea, signs of Dampness including aching in the lumbar
area,
abdominal distension, fatigue
and poor
appetite.

Paiyao -
Powder:
Apply topically as
an emergency or first aid medicine to stop
bleeding in traumatic
wounds, and to prevent infection. Use internally for swelling
and bruising
due to acute trauma, sports
injury, postpartum hemorrhage, nosebleed,
blood in urine or stool, bleeding
ulcer, and menorrhagia. Also to treat and prevent postpartum
blood stasis.
Tablets:
Use internally for swelling, bruising or bleeding in acute trauma. Also
blood in urine or stool, bleeding ulcer, and menorrhagia. Also used for
wind-damp Bi syndromes (arthritis
and rheumatism),
and promoting circulation in the muscles.
Also for amenorrhea,
cirrhosis
of the liver, dysmenorrhea, hypermenorrhea,
tuberculosis,
and to reduce swelling in sore
throat.

Wan - Indications include:

menstruation where the period may be early or late, hypermenorrhea,
hypomenorrhea,
pre-menstrual
syndrome,
dysmenorrhea
or pain with ovulation, leukorrhea,

postpartum bleeding, fatigue,
low back
pain, weakness
in the legs,
poor
appetite,
weight loss or problems gaining weight. Chronic hepatitis

research in China has shown this formula to decrease SGPT levels in the
blood in chronic hepatitis cases). |
