4. Cough
due to deficient yin manifested as cough with scanty sputum or cough with
bloody sputum, dry mouth, irritability and a thready and rapid pulse.

root (Shashen), Ophiopogon root (Maidong), Apricot seed (Xingren), and
Tendrilled fritillary bulb (Chuanbeimu).
